The Campbell Highland Games found the NCCC hosting Scottish visitor Gary Innes. Gary was captain of the Fort Williams Premier League side that won the Camanachd Cup in 2005 and also happens to be an excellent "box" player... that's accordion! Gary played both music and shinty during Saturday's Campbell Games and then lead a day-long shinty workshop the next day.

Gary officiated our Cup match on Saturday in which we played for the Trough of Excellence created specially for the occasion by Deputy Games Chieftain Paul Anderson. The Benside team (in gold below) won the day in overtime, and Bryan Norris was awarded Player of the Match by the Campbell Games trio. It was a fantastic weekend and we are already looking forward to Gary's next visit!
