For our 2005 Intra-club Challenge Match we returned to the North (white/blue/grey hoops) vs. South (gold/red) format of our first Challenge Match in 2003. The weather was cool and sunny, a perfect November day in the Bay Area! We played two matches during the afternoon with each team winning once. There were some good skills on display with a lot of balls taken out of the air and some excellent passing combinations. There was also noticeable improvements in our tackling and challenges.

Our post-game repast at the Duke of Edinburgh was a great opportunity to talk about the year's accomplishments, our Highland Games activities as well as our first trip to Scotland, and look towards 2006. Happy 5th anniversary to the NCCC!
