DIRECTIONS TO OUR SANTA CLARA PRIMARY & SECONDARY PRACTICE SITES:
SANTA CLARA CENTRAL PARK
969 Kiely Blvd, Santa Clara, 95051-5002

From East Bay:
Take 680 or 880 south to 280; head towards SF on 280. Just N/W of 280/880/17 junction, exit on Saratoga, turn right at the end of the ramp, work your way to left lane, and turn left onto Kiely at the second light (1.5 blocks). Come north on Kiely about 1 mile, cross over Homestead, the next right turn should be Benton Street, turn right onto Benton, follow Benton to White St, turn right. White Street will eventually run along the park on your right. Look for the Baseball Back stops and park. Note this is between the Swimming Pool and the Tennis Courts and if you pass the George Haines Swim Center you have gone too far, also if we are not there, look for a note posted along the fence or go directly to the secondary practice site which is the field north of the Community Center, which is off of Keily Blvd between Benton St and Homestead Road. Go back out to Benton St and turn Left, go to Kiely and turn left, the Center will be on your left.
Alternate route from 880 is to take the Montague Expressway off of 880, stay on it ill turns into San Tomas Expressway and then follow the directions for San Tomas Expressway from the 101 directions below.

From West Bay:
From 280
Take 280 south, take Saratoga exit, come across 280 on the overpass, and follow the directions above.

From 101:
Take 101 south, to Great America Parkway, head south, it will turn into Bowers, which will turn into Kiely at El Camino. The next stoplight is Benton; turn left onto Benton, follow Benton to White St, turn right. White Street will eventually run along the park on your right. Look for the Baseball Back stops and park. Note this is between the Swimming Pool and the Tennis Courts and if you pass the George Haines Swim Center you have gone too far, also if we are not there, look for a note posted along the fence or go directly to the secondary practice site which is the field north of the Community Center, which is off of Keily Blvd between Benton St and Homestead Road. Turn right on Homestead Rd travel (2.1 miles). Turn Left on N Wolfe Road travel (.4 miles). The Pub & Restaurant will be on the right hand side of the road next to the Cupertino Village Shopping Center.




DIRECTIONS TO OUR FOOTHILL COLLEGE PRACTICE SITE:

Directions to Foothill College practice field:

Foothill Community College is conveniently located just off of Highway 280. Take the El Monte exit heading west toward the hills/Moody Road. Once you're on El Monte, merge to the right. The entrance to the college comes up very quickly. When the road splits, take the fork to the right and you'll be on the road that enters the campus.

Foothill College is on a hill surrounded by a large one-way loop road. As you can see on the attached map, the fields we'll be playing on are located at the back of campus on the outside of the loop. When you enter the campus, follow the main road all the way around to the back side. When you get to the second stop light, turn right into the parking lot (Lot 4). The fields are located at the end of that parking lot.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Foothill requires you to pay for parking. There are several yellow pay stations spread throughout the parking lot. THERE IS A $2.00 FEE FOR PARKING. Carpooling would be a good idea to cut down costs.


Directions to post-practice pub:

To the delight of Los Altos night owls, a bar & grill recently opened in downtown Los Altos. To get there from the practice field, follow the loop road and eventually take the right turn back up to El Monte Road. Turn left on El Monte (heading back under the freeway). Turn left at Foothill Expressway. Very soon (the second light) turn right on Main Street. There's one very short block and then the sports lounge appears on the right across the street from the gas station. There's a parking lot in the back.

From Highway 101/880:
West on 92 (crossing the San Mateo bridge if you're coming from 880) to Delaware/Fairgrounds exit. Right onto Delaware heading south. Left onto Bermuda. Drive past school (Fiesta something) and road curves to the right. Soccer field is on the left with a small off street parking lot also on the left.

From Highway 280:
East on 92 to Delaware/Fairgrounds exit. Right onto Delaware heading south. Left onto Bermuda. Drive past school (Fiesta something) and road curves to the right. Soccer field is on the left with a small off street parking lot also on the left.

The Derby Field is a full-block of grass field located in Berkeley at the corner of Derby and Martin Luther King Jr. Way (the field is bounded by Carleton on the north, MLK on the west, Milvia on the east and Derby on the south). It is easily accessible from the highway and there is usually adequate parking alongside the park. The entrance is at the corner of Carleton and Milvia through a gate.

Burlingame High School is located adjacent to the Burlingame CalTrain Station.

FROM SOUTH: 101 north to exit 417B (Peninsula Ave). Take Peninsula Ave. to Anita Rd., right on Anita Road to Howard Ave.. Left onto Howard Ave. to E Ln, on E Ln. which becomes Carolan Ave. to Oak Grove Ave. Right onto Oak Grove, right into the parking lot by the football field.

FROM NORTH: 101 south to exit 419B (Burlingame/Broadway). Keep left at the fork, follow signs for Airport Blvd and merge onto Cadillac Way. Turn left onto Carolan Ave., proceed to Oak Grove Ave. Left onto Oak Grove, right into the parking lot by the football field.

Described as the "lacrosse field at Burlingame High (behind the football field)."

The Main Street Brewery is located on Main St. between Ray St. and Del Valle Parkway about 2 miles from 680.

From 680 take the Bernal Ave exit and head east into town on Bernal Ave. Drive past the Fairgrounds (they'll be on your left) to Main St. Turn left into Main St, the Main St. Brewery will be on your right.
